Staying at Zen Surf Morocco offers the unparalleled convenience of surfing Banana Point and K12 directly, both regional classics located in front of our surf house, eliminating the need for transport or wasted time searching for the perfect break. This beachfront surfing access, a unique feature in the Taghazout region, is a true luxury (especially for experienced surfers) that you won’t find in any other surf camp around. Imagine being the first in the water at dawn, witnessing the sunrise paint the hills as you catch your first wave, or enjoying a sunset surf session with no crowds – all just steps from our camp.
➼ Please note: This package, focusing on independent surfing, is not suitable for beginners as it does not include surf lessons. For those new to the sport, our dedicated Surf Coaching package is designed to get you riding.
Discovering Our Home Surf Spots
Our prime location on Banana Beach grants you immediate access to some of the best surf spots in the region, right outside our door. The renowned Banana Point, a beautiful point break, consistently delivers memorable surf sessions with long playful waves. While Banana Point works across all tides, it truly shines at low tide, offering a forgiving right-hander ideal for intermediate and advanced riders with an easy take-off, perfect for honing your skills and having fun.
As the tide rises, K12 comes to life. This right-left peak features an accessible shoulder, making it an excellent wave for practicing surf maneuvers like rollers and cut-backs, allowing for progression and plenty of enjoyment.
With a full ocean view from our balcony, you can easily assess the conditions at both spots before putting on your wetsuit. Our experienced instructors are also on hand to help you decide whether to stay and surf Banana Point or K12, or join the surf shuttle to explore the nearby beach breaks.
Taghazout Beach Breaks
Enjoy our daily surf shuttle
Beyond the fantastic surfing right on Banana Beach, our Freedom Surfer packages also offer the exciting opportunity to explore the diverse beach breaks of the Taghazout region with our convenient daily surf shuttle. This daily transportation with our experienced surf instructors becomes valuable when swell conditions are less favorable at our home break, or when a sheltered surf spot offering safer, smaller waves is preferred during larger swells.
Each morning, our instructors choose the best beach break of the day based on a thorough assessment of swell, wind, tide, and crowds. If it’s your first time at a particular spot, they’ll gladly provide advice on the wave configuration. These are full-day surfing excursions (typically 10 AM to 4 PM, times may vary with tides) complete with a beach picnic. Simply let us know the evening before if you’d like to join the group for the following morning’s surf trip, so we can arrange transportation.

➼ For shorter stays, the minimum package duration is 5 nights to fully enjoy a unique surf camp experience in Morocco.
