To further enhance your progress, we offer a weekly photo/video analysis session every Wednesday evening after dinner. Theoretical surf sessions

Typically on Wednesday evenings, after our barbecue, our friendly surf coaches host an engaging surf theory session at the surf house. Our experienced surf coaches will record your sessions and review the footage with you, pinpointing areas for refinement you might miss in the moment. This theoretical session focuses on identifying common errors and refining your surfing skills, covering essential techniques such as take-off, turns, and wave maneuvers. The goal of this session is to give you a different perspective to better understand the body dynamics involved in surfing. It will give you insights into your surfing technique, body positioning, and overall movement on the wave.

The purpose is for our surf coaches to share their knowledge and improve your surf skills while having a fun evening time to connect with the other guests of the surf house!

A typical surfing day in Morocco

Maximize your surf time with a full day of waves at Zen Surf Morocco in the Taghazout bay! Here’s what a typical exhilarating surfing day looks like:

9:00 – 10:00 AM 🏄‍♂️ Gear Up: New surfers get their surfboards and wetsuits sorted.
10:00 AM 🚐 Hit the Waves: Our surf shuttle departs with guests, boards, and lunch for the day’s prime surf spot. Our expert surf coaches choose the location based on optimal swell, wind, tide, and crowd conditions.
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM 🌊 Learn & Progress: Enjoy 2-2.5 hours of expert surf lessons, typically held in the clean morning conditions. We may adjust timing slightly to catch the best tide.
1:00 PM 🥪🏖️ Beach Fuel: Enjoy a tasty lunch right on the sand.
1:00 – 4:00 PM 🏄‍♀️ Supervised Surf: Practice your skills during supervised free surfing in the afternoon, with our coaches on hand.
4:00 PM 🌅 Back to Camp: Return to Zen Surf Morocco with salty hair and happy surfing memories!
