You are a surfer dreaming of staying at a surf house with full ocean view and great surf spots right in front of the house? You’d like to take it easy and choose when to surf and when to relax according to the conditions? Or maybe you’re a nomad worker willing to choose your surfing time according to your work schedule?
A lot of us have a Hectic life and are craving for a time off to unwind in a surfing paradise where one can surf whenever (s)he want. That’s the purpose of the Freedom Surf pacakge : it offers you every day the flexibility of being able to surf the great surf spots on our beach (Banana Point, K12 and K11), or use the surf shuttle and let our surf coaches drive you with our group to the best functioning beach break of the day. This package makes your stay flexible and your surf camp will adapt to your schedule (and not the opposite).
Surfing Banana Beach
Staying at Zen Surf Morocco makes it possible to surf amazing waves right in front of the house, without needing any transportation or spending time searching for surf spots, which is a very unique feature of our surf camp, and a true luxury for savvy surfers. At Zen Surf Morocco, nothing easier than being in the water at first light with no one out and watch the sun rise over the majestic hills, surf all day on our beach and enjoy a sunset session with our crew.
Our beach (Banana Beach) hosts some of the best surf spots in the area, the most famous being Banana Point, a nice point break that has the potential to offer unforgettable sessions in long and easy waves. While working at any tide, Banana Point is best at low tide. Banana Point is a playful right-hander for both intermediate and advanced surfers alike with an easy take-off making it a great wave to progress and have fun.
When the tide rises another surf spot awakens: the K12. It is a right and left A-frame with an easy take-off and a mellow shoulder making it the perfect wave to practise maneuvers (rollers/cut-backs) and have fun.
Both surf spots can be checked right from our seafront balcony, making it very easy to choose which one to surf. Our surf coaches will be able to advise you whether it’s worth it to stay surfing at Banana Beach for the day or join the group to go surfing beach breaks.
Hint: this package is not adapted to beginner surfers as it does not include surf lessons. For beginners,our all-inclusive Surf Coaching package is the one that you’re looking for 😉
Beach Breaks
In addition to being able to surf the surf spots on our beach, you will also have the possibility every day to be transported with our surfing group and our surf coaches to the beach breaks of the area. This can be useful if the swell drops (and there are no waves on our beach) or if the swell is too big and you would rather surf a safe sheltered surf spot.
In that case, you ca be driven with our surf shuttle to the best functioning beach break of the day, chosen by our surf coaches according to the conditions (swell, wind, tide, crowds). The surf coaches will be happy to give you advice on the configuration of the surf spot if it’s the first time that you surf it. Please note that this will be a full day of surfing from 10AM to 4PM with packed lunch on the beach. We simply need to know the night before if you’ll join the group the next morning to be able to organise transportation.
