We fell in love with Morocco but having a Surf & Yoga camp in the Taghazout area does not mean it is the only place where we love surfing. As a proof, here is a little surf guide of the places we loved from Morocco to France all along this beautiful Atlantic coast blessed by the gods of surfing. Here you’ll have an overview of the coolest places all across this 3000-km coastline, and there are quite a few. Most spots in Europe are best surfed in spring or summer time, while Morocco is by far the best winter surf destination for Europeans. Hoping you’ll find it helpful!
El Palmar
Let’s start from the most southern region of Spain: Andalucia. Blessed with great weather, Andalucia is not only a place for great seafood tapas and iberico ham, it delivers clean and amazing waves all year round. El Palmar sits in a league of its own, ideally located to catch big ground swells with amazing sand banks. Local surf school people are very laid back and can provide good advice on where to surf.

Laredo
Cantabria is home to many spots of amazing quality, and the lively village of Laredo is the perfect place if you want to surf during the day and experience the amazing Spanish lifestyle after an exhausting day of surfing: tapas and sangria being on top of your list! There are great surf schools in the village, our special advice would go to the BM surf school run by our friends Dani Martin and Victor Vera. Fun, good mood and great surf coaching will the leitmotiv of your stay.
